Curators Ana Janevski and Ivana Mestrov invited the Curating Degree Zero Archive to Zagreb. The installation of the archive in the Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic in collaboration with a group of young curating students and designed by Dora Budor & Maja Cule.
Curating Degree Zero was launched by Dorothee Richter and Barnaby Drabble to research, present and discuss changes in the practice of freelance curators, artist-curators, new-media curators and curatorial collaborations. Beginning in 1998 with a three-day symposium and an ensuing publication, the project went on to build an expanding archive about these practices. Between 2003 and 2008 the archive toured to 17 venues, where it was displayed, used and accompanied by a programme of live events and discussions.
