Activities included a weeklong workshop with an international group of young curators, resulting in a fanzine.Curating Degree Zero was launched by Dorothee Richter and Barnaby Drabble to research, present and discuss changes in the practice of freelance curators, artist-curators, new-media curators and curatorial collaborations. Beginning in 1998 with a three-day symposium and an ensuing publication, the project went on to build an expanding archive about these practices. Between 2003 and 2008 the archive toured to 17 venues, where it was displayed, used and accompanied by a programme of live events and discussions.
