The Lichthaus was the former headquarters of the shipyard in Bremen. When we occupied the building, it had not been used for many years. We were a curatorial group or event group, Georg Ueltzen, Claus Hammer, Mo and myself.
Individuals were involved to varying degrees in the projects, and apart from the Core Group, others were involved, for example in New Music. Typical of the ubiquitous gentrification, the building was then renovated with EU funds and, after our upgrading interim use, given to an “economically experienced manager”.
